Mariani’s architectural projects include private residences, museums and corporate offices. This book covers the full breadth of the colourful activity of this Tuscan maestro. In 1980 Mariani co-founded Studio Stimela, a design practice which produced lighting, tableware, decorative objects and furniture. The whimsy of Mariani’s designs and of those created by others working in Florence gave rise to the short lived 'boldista' movement.
